Mongoose serial numbers were first and then GT serial numbers. When rebuilding and restoring old BMX bikes it's extremely helpful to know exactly how your bike is. This post is intended to be used as a helpful guide to help read your Redline serial number and find out what year your new school Redline BMX was built and sold in bike shops. I have an all original (as purchased) GT Mach One, but I can not find typical info a serial number and other stampings usually provide. Can any of you steer me in the right direction to help decipher what my serial numbers say about my bicycle? I’ve listed them below so they’re easy to see and copy. I bought it in 2001, I believe. Re: dyno serial numbers « Reply #8 on: October 04, 2013, 08:38 PM » I have a NOS Dyno Slammer frame here and that's a 1995 with the figure 4 stamped that in GT Terms means Pro or full size frame. U can buy it if your a Dyno man. A simple guide to help you check the serial number on your old GT BMX and find out what year it was built and sold. This serial number guide is for mid school and new-school GT BMX bikes made between the mid 90’s to mid 2000’s.

LS167495 LS for the factory. 1 for the production line. The one I saw with this number was a 94. Which means theres no build date in this serial.
