I purchased and downloaded the ATV flash beta version for Apple TV 2nd generation. I use a Windows XP PC. I downloaded the ATV Flash.exe file. However I cannot find clear instructions on how to install it on the Apple TV 2nd gen using Windows XP PC. The only instructions including that for jailbreaking the apple TV are for Mac users. The flagship feature of this release is the new Library View which lists all your content, even the titles stored on other devices you own, and automatically organizes movies, TV shows and music into categories like genre, release date, star rating, age rating, and so forth.
The new aTV Flash will now automatically group TV shows by series/season, “so there's no more worrying about keeping your folders perfectly organized.”
For conservative users, the original browsing method will remain intact as an alternative option.
A more powerful search tool is now available, allowing viewers to search by movie, TV series/episode, song, artist, album or file name.
